2015 Legacy Pinot Noir Twin Pack

2015 Legacy Pinot Noir Twin Pack

For Those Who Only Want The Best Of Each Vintage...

For those in the know, our Legacy wines are those that Laurent feels are the most symbolic of the vintage, and after exhaustively tasting through each and every barrel from the Domaine Danielle Laurent Vineyard and the Hyland Vineyard, he will designate one to become what we know as a 'Legacy'.

This twin pack gives our club members the chance to get both expressions of the 2015 vintage, all within a Soléna wooden box, where these wines can be stashed away in your cellar for years and years or uncorked immediately in a fitting celebration of life!

This pack contains one each of:
  • 2015 Domaine Danielle Laurent Vineyard Legacy
  • 2015 Hyland Vineyard Legacy

Here's what Laurent had to say about the 2015 Domaine Danielle Laurent Vineyard Legacy:

The Legacy of Domaine Danielle Laurent. Our home and estate vineyard sits in the northern Willamette Valley in the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Comprised almost entirely of the ancient sedimentary Willakenzie Soil Series, and tightly planted to 2,234 plants per acre this site intrinsically stresses each vine to bring the best fruit each year. Wines from Domaine Danielle Laurent are big and soft with luscious tannins, hints of anise, blackberry, bramble and a touch of red fruits.

Here's what Laurent had to say about the 2015 Hyland Vineyard Legacy:

The Legacy of Hyland Vineyard is one that started in the early years of the Oregon Wine Industry. First planted in 1971, Hyland was one of the first vineyards to produce Pinot Noir in what is now a world-renowned Pinot Noir region. Hyland Vineyard is located in the McMinnville AVA and is rooted in the volcanic Jory Soil Series. Hyland Vineyard boasts the largest planting of self-rooted “Coury” Clone Pinot Noir, which was smuggled into the U.S. from Alsace by Charles Coury during the 1960’s. The powerful Jory soil and moderate climate of Hyland give a very powerful and focused wine with notes of bright red fruits, minerality and juicy tannins.
